You like to eat nuts and have the problem to swallow up? You have to cough or you can't swallow the hard, spiky crumbs? You are not alone. This is a very typical problem with Parkinson's. I know this problem very well from my patients.
But nuts are so healthy for you, provided you don't have an allergy!!!

Why are nuts so healthy and valuable for you if you suffer from Parkinson's?

But first, let's clarify what nuts are?

We want to consider here not only the nuts , which count in the narrow botanical sense as a nut, but also the varieties that we also call nuts in everyday life:
There are: Hazelnuts, peanuts, cashews, walnuts, macadamia nuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, pecans, pistachios,...

The most valuable for your nutrition, so to speak the queen among nuts, is the walnut.
